Dear members and friends of Giving Women, On behalf of Jo Butler, one of our members, Giving Women would like to announce you that the Spring bazaar of the Ethiopian Children’s Appeal organization will be held on 23 and 24 June with lots of new items and a jewellery collection designed and made personally by Jo Butler during her three month sabbatical in Ethiopia this year. She installed solar energy at the schools, built two new buildings and a library, refurbished the health clinic, made the annual delivery of school supplies and Christmas gifts and guess what? Planted a vegetable garden at the school so that the children can boost their nutritional needs and sell the surplus! All of this was possible because of YOU!! Your continued generous donations and purchase of handicrafts have enable the charity to support 900 children since 11 years.
