Building on the Giving Women Communications workshop series, we will design and build the key aspects (content, structure and style) of a website for social benefit organisations. In the first part, Elaine Zameck, from Fondation Gloria Mundi, will highlight effective use of websites for NGOs, associations, and social businesses using real life examples . Together you will define the main structure and key messages of your website. In the second part, Helen Yau will help us begin to build our websites using WordPress, a free and open source content management system. At the end of the workshop you will have begun to build your social benefit orgs website.

Part 1: What does a social benefit website look like? Good examples. What questions do I need to answer to build my organisation’s website ? What information is essential ?
Part 2: How do I use WordPress to build a website for my social benefit organisation?

1. Log into WordPress.org and create an account
2. Purchase a domaine name and hosting company
