Diana van Maasdijk, Co-Founder of Equileap introduced innovative ways to funding women’s empowerment

Equileap is a shared return fund in the making that will offer individuals, families and foundations an opportunity to make a fair financial return, and, at the same time, advance the position of women and girls world-wide. The aim of the project is to create a new sustainable source of funding to support women and girls derived from the financial markets. Investing in gender equity both in the financial and social sectors is a high-impact strategy with the potential to bring about transformative global change for women and girls, a financial return for investors and a means to unlock a new engine of economic growth.

After the presentation, there was time for an interactive questions and answers session.
