Developing a strategic plan is a critical step to building an organisation which is fit for purpose. A good strategic plan creates clarity around an organisation’s mission and aims to capitalise on their comparative advantage in a particular sector.

This two stage workshop series will illustrate how to develop an actionable strategic plan. The first session (April 11th) will focus on strategy development and provide tools to guide strategic discussions and develop plans by looking at some strong examples. In the second session (date TBC), Rachel will provide guidance on how to translate such a plan into action and use it to attract sustainable funding.

Facilitator: Rachel Belt has ten years of experience managing complex programs for international non-profit organizations focused in healthcare provision in low-resource settings and child protection programming. She has a degree in Political Science and Humanitarian Health Programme Management.
