Maddalena is an experienced global philanthropy expert and executive with 20 years of experience working across non-profit, private and corporate philanthropy. She has extensive experience in grantmaking for mental health, psychosocial support, access to education, women empowerment, economic opportunities and disaster relief/preparedness. She is passionate about building bridges between donors and beneficiaries, to generate a meaningful and sustainable impact on the lives of the most vulnerable, while helping foundations to maximize the return on their investments. Both for Fondation d’Harcourt and Philip Morris International, she has provided vision and strategic guidance in the development and execution of multi-stakeholder collaborations and public-private initiatives, working in international teams and diverse multicultural contexts. As of January 2023, she is Emerging Partnerships Officer at ILO. She has a Master in Philosophy and a Master in International Relations from La Sorbonne.
