Second, we observed that women were looking to make meaningful contributions philanthropically but didn’t know where to start. Giving Women was established to support learning and collaboration amongst women. Our members learn how to source, evaluate and select projects, have the opportunity to support these projects and developing an understanding what the key issues affecting women and girls are. With these skills, knowledge and community, Giving Women members are able to make a sustained impact on the lives of women and girls in need through the projects they support.

Giving Women leverages the experience, knowledge, networks and commitment of our members to provide the technical support to help our carefully selected projects professionalise and become more resilient and effective, thus having a greater and more sustained positive impact on the lives of girls and women in need.

With the purpose of engaging in more effective philanthropy we offer an on-going educational programme to enhance the skills and expertise of our members and colleagues working in social benefit organisations. We are also committed to raising awareness on the many issues vulnerable girls and women face globally.
