Elisabeth Kalman Sarkis

Facilitator

Elisabeth grew up in the United States and in Zurich, Switzerland. She obtained a BSc in Biology and a BA in Quantitative Economics from Stanford University and an MBA from INSEAD. For over ten years, Elisabeth worked for The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), a strategy consulting group. Her work focused primarily on pure business strategy in a variety of industries (pharmaceuticals, insurance, luxury goods, telecoms). At Giving Women, Elisabeth serves on the Executive Committee. Elisabeth has evaluated several projects and is also a member of the Project Selection Subcommittee.
Recently Elisabeth’s interest has broadened to issues of strategy and board leadership at nonprofit organizations, through her involvement on several international nonprofit boards and Stanford Women on Boards. Elisabeth speaks English, Swiss German, German, French, Italian and a few words of Greek and Hungarian.
