In May 2015, the NGO Women for Development (WFP) together with its partners UN House in Armenia and World Council of Churches Armenia Inter-Church Round Table Foundation announced a drawing/painting competition for Armenian schoolchildren with the theme “Let’s live in peace with our neighbors”. A quite essential and actual theme for Armenia.
The exhibition, co-organized by Giving Women, consisted of 53 paintings, all with similar frames. During the exhibition pupils of the ISG received brief information about Armenia. Peace education project being implemented in Armenia will be presented to them, a video with about 20 minute duration, presenting the preparatory work and the summarizing part of the contest will be displayed.
