How can we help people, who experienced traumatic life circumstances and cannot express their feelings or what they have been through, with words? An art therapy workshop led by Laurence Vandenborre, founder of The Red Pencil, will bring you closer to the humanitarian work of the organisation globally and provide first-hand experience about the way art therapy can rebuild self-confidence and self-esteem, build resilience, help to identify new resources, empower towards a better future.

Please join us for this unique session to explore the power of arts therapy and participate with your input and questions to a lively discussion in the spirit of Giving Women.

The Red Pencil in Brief:
The Red Pencil brings the power of arts therapy around the world to children and families who have been through traumatic life circumstances, for which they have no words. Their programmes help individuals heal and grow through the arts, by offering an alternative way of expression towards balance, empowerment and resilience.

Speaker:
Laurence Vandenborre, Registered Arts Therapist, Founder and Managing Director of the The Red Pencil.
