Giving Women is a Geneva-based network of women involved in philanthropy. Its aim is to build a community of informed women philanthropists and to make a meaningful difference in the lives of women and girls.

One of the principal activities of Giving Women is to give professional support to selected projects all over the world that are focused on women’s and girls’ empowerment.

This support might be given by improving organisations’ documentation and communication materials, by helping broaden organisations’ recognition in Switzerland, by collaborating to improve governance structure, by improving monitoring and evaluations systems, etc.

As many projects request the same types of assistance, Giving Women is committed to building an on-line library of resources, templates and documents of best practice to facilitate the project’s support of GW projects.

The internship aims to support the Project Circle Monitoring Subcommittee by reviewing existing resources, refine language and references, ensure consistency in quality and form across them, suggest new resources to develop, research existing templates or documents and synthesise research into a coherent and consistent document.
